Dacia Logan – cheapest cars to insure

Do you want lots of space, low list price and low running costs? Then the Dacia Logan could be the way forward

Dacia Logan front

It is perhaps unsurprising that one of the most affordable brands out there, offers a car that sits as low as insurance group 2 – the Logan. Part with just £8,495 and you could get a brand new budget estate in either Access or Ambiance trim with the 1.0 SCe 75 engine.

Granted, go for the Acces and you will have about the same levels of equipment as a second hand paper bag, but step up to the £9,295 Ambiance model and you will at least get a radio, manual air conditioning and electric front windows.

Dacia Logan review

There is of course the option of the top spec Laureate model (which costs just over £10,000) which comes with delights such as a touchscreen infotainment system, front fog lights and body coloured door handles and mirrors. As you will find from the rest of the Dacia range, to drive the Logan is pleasant enough and it boasts a 573-litre boot should you be in the market for that kind of practicality.
