Watch our video review of the all-new Maserati Quattroporte as it goes on sale in the UK

Italian supercar maker, Maserati has redesigned its slow-selling four-door saloon, the Quattroporte, in an effort to boost sales and make the brand more appealing to a wider market.

The car is new from the ground up, and aside from the exterior tweaks and large gaping grille; the updated Quattroporte is bigger, more luxurious and lighter on fuel.

The interior has been overhauled too, along with a pair of all-new Ferrari-built engines. There’s an entry-level 404bhp twin-turbo V6 and flagship 523bhp V8 – both of which get that addictive Italian exhaust note we’ve come to expect from Maseratis of late.
