Aston Martin V8 Vantage S Great Britain Edition hits Shanghai

Limited-run Great Britain Edition on show in Shanghai is the latest bespoke creation from Aston Martin's Q division

Aston Martin has unveiled the V8 Vantage S Great Britain Edition, a limited-run design to showcase the firm’s bespoke vehicle division to Chinese customers at the Shanghai Motor Show

The Great Britain Edition has been created as part of the ‘Q by Aston Martin - Commission’ process, which aims to offer insight into the possibilities of fully blown bespoke creations in strictly limited production runs. Just five examples of the Great Britain Edition will be built, each costing RMB 2,088,000 (£236,000).

The new model is mechanically identical to a regular V8 Vantage S, but it gets Stratus White paint and blue tinting on the side mirrors, tail-light inserts and rear diffuser, along with red, white and blue exterior wing badges.

The cabin is trimmed in Aurora Blue leather, with bespoke ‘wave’ quilting, Union Flag embroidery and anodised blue finish on the rotary switches.
